car is a 89 TII paint from what i was told is a grey with a blue pearl and silver flakes. i dont think i like the silver flakes anymore. is there a way to get rid of the flakes withought repainting the whole car like im thinking sanding it down to the paint. from what i understand the silver flake is put on right before the clear coat? or is it mixed in with the pearl. i have no idea about paint.heres some pics

 

You would have to repaint the whole car.

 

Wash the car and give it a nice detailing job, maybe you'll decide otherwise.
It's best to save the money on upgrading mechanical parts, unless you are putting on a whole lot of new exterior parts.
