AMUSE R1 TITAN TITANIUM EXHAUST!!!
Just picked it up today and installed it in about 30 minutes. Weighs 6.9lbs. The welds are simply beautiful. This is not for sale anymore. My previous exhausts include: apexi n1, apexi n1 duals, apexi gt spec, and hks carbon ti. This blows ALL of them out of the water. Sound is extremely deep with ZERO rasp or braaaaaap, just nice and clean. |

Try finding an HKS 4" Ti exhaust, those sound great. Though I never expected to have a quiet FD.

Got the rear bumper on today, I am going to put the diffuser on once it gets painted. The car is currently: VR, laser red, montego blue, white, black, and carbon fiber. Car needs to be dropped atleast 1.5", need to sell some of these parts to buy suspension. Car is EXTREMELY dirty, haha you can see all the fingerprints on the hood. I think the work vsxx just dont fit the look of this car, need to find a new wheel.

Your Amuse exhaust is now a collectors item since the founder of Amuse "Hideki Tanabe" past away last sept
|
very nice
|
getting rid of those lights was gay hahaha but i like where its going feed is one of the best kids, i cant stand all the mismatched stuff especially feed sides into a cwest rear, ew.
and its about time you get around to dropping it, cant wait. |
I like the hood man...I'll have to get that on the dl....

Found some nice 18" HRE 545 for sale that i might pick up. Right now they are in silver. My photoshop skills are pretty basic, at best, but you get the idea. I think it looks better than the works. Maybe the wheel should be all black?
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/purerx7/545.gif http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/purerx7/5452.gif maybe matte center, black gloss lip? I think this G looks pretty sick. https://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f...o/HIN08102.jpg https://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f396/resauto/me7.jpg |
maybe i should just change the color of my wheels
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...rx7/vsxx-1.gif http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/purerx7/vsxx2.gif |
maybe some ce28n's are appropriate. Here they are, TA in the back and dblack in the front.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/purerx7/ta1.gif |
hey, have any more pics of that g35? I love the matte center with gloss lip but IMO it'd only look good on black cars. For your rims idk but its really hard for me to make a choice between the rims you want when your front is still unpainted.. maybe its just me haha
|
Brian i would def do the matte black center look with the polished lip. I think you posted it in the 1st page, the one on the white lexus. That looks SICK!
That black G that you posted too looks sick as hell. I cant wait til i get my G. So hard to find a red g35 6spd around me though. |
I think you should make the wheels white. They look so much nicer if they were white!!!!

Anyone know anything about titanium piping? Can it be bent like aluminum piping? Want to do something similar to below, minus the white sock. https://img219.imageshack.us/img219/...sc090354bj.jpg |
+1 for the ce28n's
my favorite wheel:bigthumb: |
-1 for CE28N, the most overplayed time attack wheel.
The fitment is more important than the wheel. Aggressive fitment can make any shit wheel look decent. |

On a shitty side note, the fd got towed to a shop, second time this month. Awesome. Went to pep-boys to test the battery to see if that was the problem with my starter not starting. Battery checked out okay. FYI i have had issues with the car not turning over, sometimes taking 20 minutes to finally crank. After taking a multi-meter i learned it is a problem with the alarm wiring and since the pettit starter booster is wired into the alarm a problem arises. the starter was only getting approx 8 volts. Anyways, I put the battery back in and it does not start for at least an hour. So I jump start it with a screw-driver and it barely starts by me opening the throttle 100%. Than it runs like shit and idles really low with a CEL with something with the oil metering pump, so I am assuming that it is flooded. Called my insurance, specifically asking for a flat-bed truck, of course they send a regular tow truck. So I had to wait 4 hours at pep-boys waiting for this tow truck to tow my car. Will see what the mechanic says tomorrow, hopefully just de-flood the engine and probably new plugs now. Someone donate me some money for: https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/...0051Medium.jpg |

Get your car sorted out?? That's a weird problem to have...why'd you get the pettit starter booster? Is your battery relocated? Hope it works out soon!
|

VERY upset I have to sell my amuse and arc exhaust http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...xhausts002.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...xhausts018.jpg |
sorry if i missed it but how come you decided to sell your arc ti exhaust?
can wait to see what you come up with when its all finished! |
It seems like you're taking a similar route to the one I'm taking with my FD...
I'm goin with the Feed front bumper, sides and hood, Ganador or Craftsquare mirrors (undecided) and a rear diffuser of sorts... I'm rolling on a set of Volk GT-Cs 18x9 and 18x10 though....I dig the 5 spoke look. |

Snapped a quick pic of the car today, need to sell the seats and arc ti to finish up ordering parts before paint. Projecting the car to be finished at the end of March.

Seems like the craftsquare mirrors mount via the small triangular plastic piece near the factory mirrors, thus exposing the stock mirror mounting holes when you remove them. Ganador mounts up via factory holes, which is a bonus in my book when comparing them.
|
Craftsquare mirrors attach to the stock holes:
https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3177...5c33f7acc9.jpg Ganador mirrors attach via the stock holes and double sided tap to the triangle. Project has come to a halt, all my money is tied up in rx7 parts from Japan that people are asking for. I am still waiting on my mazda speed r-spec front bumper, might sell it or keep it. Authentic 99 tails coming next week for my car, 7lust conversion tails will be for sale. Here is whats left for the exterior build: FRP ad9 hood Re-amemiya mirrors FEED turn signal covers maybe mazda speed r spec front bumper? hre wheels |
You should order the RE-A stuff this 7 stock when they come here. They usually do free shipping.
Makes it easier. |
Dear diary, JACKPOT:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/purerx7/bbslm.jpg http://www.e-tire.co.jp/ferrari_page/bbs-lm_f1-f.jpg Thanks to Ganesh, I have found my new wheel. |
I'm partial to the RGRs personally......
Good to know on the craftsquare mirrors btw, thanks for setting me straight :) |
Good to know. Just save up and find some used 19s or 18s you wanted.
My friend in japan with an R33 GTR was selling a perfect set 18 x 10? or 11? all around set in gold for under 3000 USD so they exist. :) Edit: look what i found (examples). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BBS-L...spagenameZWD1V http://www.rbwheels.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1649 |
if memory serves me correctly craftsquare actually has 2 versions. 1 that mounts up to the stock holes 2 replaces the triangle and is mounted there
|
I have the same rims exept mine has a chrome lip

I have the Craftsquare mirrors that mount to the triangles, they are well constructed. One thing that you should consider with all your twin weave carbon, is that they only come in the jdm 1x1 weave. You could have them rewrapped or painted though, extra expense on already expensive parts. The doors do look better with mirrors mounted to the triangles. Too bad nobody makes mirrors that mount higher on the doors like on the Furai or Testarossa.

BBS lm's my fav all time wheel. DROOL!.. But seriously, your vs-ssx I believe? those rims are sweet too. Just remove those homosexual pink lug nuts and your set!

Going to run me close to $350 to pick these up http://www.bbs-japan.co.jp/b_img/pro...gnutkit200.jpg identical to this setup with red centercaps and red bbs lugs. https://i254.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC00559.jpg |
I personally think that 18s look just right on a FD. I've yet to see 19s that looked GREAT on a 7, they look just a bit off. Just my opinion, heck if you go in that direction you might save yourself a few bucks.
|
+1... 19's seem a bit much IMO...
|
I'm going to have to agree on this one...19 seems to be a bit much. BUT if anyone can make it work you can. I say save the dough and put towards something else
|
Another vote for 18s (or 17s ;))......
|
Couple things to remember here:
1. Since the bbs lm has a step lip, visually the wheel looks smaller than it is, specifically on mesh wheels. I feel like my 18" work vs-xx look like they are 17", which IMO is due to the mesh design, as a 5 spoke 18" looks 18". 2. a 265/30/19 and a 265/35/18 have the same tire diamaeter, so the car is not going to be sitting any higher than it would on my current wheels. Plus I have suspension coming in soon. 3. Re-sale on 19" bbs lm is great, I will probably make money if I had to re-sell them, so if they are too big I will just sell them. 4. I think the 18" bbs lm wheel just is not full enough, and looks really small, but IMO the 19" looks 100x better. The problem is, you guys here 19" wheels and you starting running, which would be understandable if it were a track car. 5. One of my last sets of wheels were 19" Advan Sienna Generation 2, the bbs lm's will look smaller, so I think it will be just right. 19's here: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...x7/rx72026.jpg |
As I said...if anyone can make it work..you can. =)
