Huh?! I thought that was about as baller as possible!

I want one of the new ti FEED exhausts when they're released, they look pretty awesome.

It will only fit a RHD dashboard I'm afraid.

Tom,

Do you have a picture of the new feed ti? I looked on their website and couldnt find any additional information.

Thanks for the pictures Tom, looks very similar to the ti-r that this model is replacing - I am assuming it is a bit lighter? The exhaust I have coming in is a ultra ultra rare feed exhaust, full titanium midpipe & catback, I think I actually posted pictures of it a few pages back.

Suspension coming in Tuesday! Trying to decide on seats, what do you guys think about these in leather or alcantara with red stitching? I would wrap the silver seat belt holders in CF - these are cf backed. These are replica porsche gt2 seats, the real ones are close to $14,000 (no typo)

Seats look sweet! Definitely wrap the silver though. Would set your car apart (as if it wasn't already) from other going with Brides or Recaros

Hmmm.....I may have to get you to source me one of those then - Basically...If FEED make it...I need it haha.

Regarding those seats.....I dislike them. They look like the belong in a Porsche . I'm going with the RECARO Pole Position Carbon seats in black leather. They weigh only 4.5kg & look rather good imo!

Yeah, I dont know about the seats, they will run be $2,000ish but I really don't think I want cloth and the leather recaro seats are like $1400 each plus rails? Just money though, right? I am tired of buying things and changing my mind, just one to order seats and be done with it - unfortunately I know that will never happen. I kinda like these too:
limited production run in this color, I think.

or just red ts-g's

Yeah, those TS-Gs are awesome, my friend has a set in his R34 that very colour. Pretty decently priced too.

The definition of a moneypit = RX-7

You should know that by now B!

The tsg seats will fit just fine but not like the rz seats. The rz seats are specifically made to accommodate the transmission tunnel.

Okay, so today I worked on the center part of the wheels. As you know meisters dont come with center caps and the center part was all rusted. I ended up not using the matte clear coat pictured below.
Before

Products used except for the clear

All jacked up

cleaned the wheels while they were off, decals should be here soon

sanded the center section of each wheel, 150 grit, 400 then 1000. Masked off & ready for paint

end result!

rear

front

I will take some full pictures of the car when the work decals come in. Amazing how something so cheap and simple can be such a nice touch. Was a complete pain in the *** to sand everything though. This makes Bryan happy.

Few updates:

1. Just got my work decals in, bought them from http://workwheelsonline.com/ which IMO was one of the few online vendors I haven't had a problem with. $25 for decals does make my ******* hurt though.

2. And so the moment has arrived, almost 2 years to finally get some suspension here. These are completely overkill but sure are pretty to look at. Long discontinued by HKS, MSRP was 550,000Y or roughly $6k.

Looking to have the suspension installed this weekend. FINALLLLLLLLLLLLY no more 4x4.

Nice coilovers Bryan, what are the spring rates? You might want to look into an adjustable seat for comfort. If you're somewhat tall, you will appreciate being able to move the seat back for additional room.

Thanks! Spring rates are 10k front and 12k rear. Not too tall at 6"0, so should be fine with a bucket seat and adjustable rail.

I reallllllly want these rs-g cl's but they are like $2500 each

Wow, that's really expensive for a non-carbon seat. Looks pretty damn nice though.

Its been taking me forever to install the suspension, partly because I am writing a tutorial on how to do it as I go along. Anyways, heres the old midpipe and rear struts out. Only the rear is done, drop is 1.5".

Looking real pretty

About .25" between the tire and fender.

No more 4x4 bittttttttttttttttttttttches. Red lugnuts are just temp so I don't scratch the other ones by taking them on & off.
