update:
1. Placed my FINAL(lol) order at shine last week, I think I modified it about four times. I ordered feed front fenders and feed rear fenders. Here is my plan for the rear fenders:
1. Here is Carols FD, notice the slot on the back, the one the red arrow points to.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/purerx7/4.jpg
2. I am going to fill this entire part so it is smooth as such:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y121/purerx7/41.jpg

3. I am also going to have the whole rear fender molded in, so it should look very clean and a nice transition. Also will allow for some NASTY offsets on my LM's both front and rear now.

The AUTHENTIC re-amemiya hood arrived today. I 100% need to take back what I said about it in comparison to the rotary extreme hood. The re-amemiya hood fitment is PERFECT, I mean it fits better then the stock hood and definitely better then rotary extreme hood. There are no gaps or any sort of problems people have reported seeing in the past, this is definitely one of those things that you get what you pay for. I am very very satisfied and it is as light as my old seibon CARBON FIBER ts hood.

I am going to Orlando this week to pick up the front fenders, I am going to come back switch them out and put on my old stock door hinges. Then my r-magic fenders and vertical door hinges will be for sale.

I am soooooooooooooooooooo excited, I sourced another ARC exhaust which I promptly ordered today. That means my Amuse r1 titanium exhaust is now for sale which is THE lightest exhaust EVER made for the FD. I made ANOTHER exhaust video for the amuse exhaust:http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...h_ad9hd041.jpg.

Cliff notes:
1. ad9 hood came in, fitment perfect
2. ordered feed front and rear fenders
3. ordered arc titanium exhaust
4. r-magic fenders, vertical door kit and amuse r1 titanium exhaust are now for sale

Is that exhaust loud? I can't tell if it is or not from your video.

FD's looking really good though =D

Thanks! It is no where near as loud as my old old apexi n1 duals (those were like 6 exhausts ago, lol), however it is still quite loud, but a good loud. Not raspy at all, very deep sound to it, I have the stock midpipe, so I would imagine it would be a bit louder with more of an open exhaust. No regrets really with the sound, just found the exhaust I have always wanted. The welds on the amuse exhausts are absolutely gorgeous.

the indentation that you covered up in the photoshop for the rear fender, that's the only part of the FEED rear fenders that really matches the front fenders.

IMO, if you cover it up, it will kill the flow

I politely disagree. The rear fender vent is not necessary to complete the front fender. By covering it up, it will just add to the rear fender a touch and will look like it came that way from the factory. Think of it just as a widebody rear. I am not 100% on this, I am going to look at the rear 1/4 tomorrow when I pick up the fender and decide.
Some new pics from today, had to play with the contrast to get the white hood to properly show:

Brought these knight sports head lights over for a customer, DEFINITELY going with them in the future

Also bought a 99 Nardi wheel, my plan eventually is to buy a spirit-r wheel and replace it with a Nardi airbag, I hate the mazda logo.
Expect LOTS of updates this weekend, paint is less then 2 weeks away ahhhhhh

hehe, don't have to be too polite in your own thread. ofcourse everyone have a different take on it. its all personal taste and suggestion/discussion

just a thought... for me, i don't like how FEED removed the vent in the front fenders but the indentation on the rear fenders compliments it making it match overall. Covering up the rear section and molding it into the body looks clean. but might look even cleaner with Burnout front fenders instead of FEED since it keeps the stock vents.

another thing is the rear side bumper lights. if you fill the rear fenders, are they going to be covered up? flushed in w/ the bondo? or sit on top of the thick bondo?

Factory body flow (just something to think about :P) if you add rear fenders and take out the indentation, it will make the rear quarter section flat.

I think Brian (PureRX7 is that your name? lol, sorry =P) and I have the same tastes. I think the car would look pretty good if that rear vent for the FEED 1/4 is removed, but it would also look pretty good if you use a rear diffuser with the vent as well.

Either way, it's his car, and it's unique if he does it.

As an aside, can a kmh speed be calibrated to read mph? This has always been the big negative for me.

It is too late to order any more parts, the feed front and rear fenders arrive at my body shop yesterday, so that is the final plan. I plan on filling in the entire rear fender vent, including the rear side bumper light. There will be no side bumper light, just like my photoshop above shows, smooth and clean. Right now the rear section is pretty flat on the fd, minus the side markers. I think the overfender/arch right by the rear should be enough to subside the flat part behind it. The cf craft-square add-ons should add a nice touch to the rear too.

Probably because great minds think alike? I believe if you go wayyy back (didnt think this thread would have so many pages other then just me rambling) I talked about the rear diffuser. I have a cf re amemiya pro diffuser, cf center valence and cf craftsquare add-ons. Some pictures from page 2 of the diffuser and addons

You might want to contact the guys over at http://www.dnaspeedometers.com/, they might be able to help you. I am quite handy with electronics and circuits, but to my knowledge, I have no idea how to re-calibrate it to mph. Guess I am not that handy :) You really get use to the KMH, when you think about it, for mph you really only need to know 35,45,75 and 150 :).

So i didnt get as much work as I planned to get done this weekend, surprise! Went to Orlando, the painter wants to install the fenders himself since they are not pre-drilled. So the front and rear feed fenders will be installed when it goes to paint. We decided on candy apple red with a silver base coat, not sure how much he said he is going to take some of the sparkle out of it so it looks cleaner.

Took off the passenger side fender and vertical door kit to go back to stock hinges:

Its starting to look even more awesome than it used to! About the rear fender mod. Are you just blending it out or are you going to try to apply the natural contour the fender the way the factory metal or contoured?

Thanks! Going to leave it up to the body shop to be honest, I am just requesting they fill in the notch and mold in the whole rear quarter panel. My goal is for it to be wide in a stock form, although I can see how it might throw off the front fenders. Decision decisions.

It is nice living in a 6 story parking garage that is 60% empty :)

if they just flatten it out it'll look like shit, the body shop need to add the natural contour to it otherwise they'll be making it worse, it'll look fat an plain behind the wheel and disrupt the flow, make sure they know what to do >_>. Once its molded its molded.

Not sure I follow to be honest. The feed rear fenders have their own contour, when I mold in the notch, it will follow the contour. If you look at the rear 1/4 of your fd, you will notice that panel is actually pretty flat other then the side marker.

Couple of updates, my arc exhaust came intoday and I spent most of today installing that and the Ganador. Took a couple of pictures and a sound clip. Love the way it looks and sound, maybe a little quiet for my taste, but a rmagic titanium midpipe should fix that. Does anyone know how to extend an exhaust out a little further? It is about dead even with the rear bumper and I want to push it out another inch. Some kind of exhaust adapter? I wonder if you can take like 5 exhausts gaskets, get longer bolts and that should make it go out another inch or so? Any ideas?

LOL I know, I have no where else to go. Back home I have a really sweet setup. Parking garage is fine, I park on the fifth floor where no one else is, that way I dont get bothered or asked if it is twin turbo.

Been extremely busy moving to Atalanta, so I havent had a chance to update this thread. Rx7 Boutique is still 100% operational, I have a paid associate taking care of shipping from Gainesville for the next 10 weeks til I get back. No delays what-so-ever.

My trip down to Orlando to drop off the car to paint. East Coast Garage is doing all the paint and body work. They have done several magazine cover cars and IMO, their work is second to none. They arent cheap but they arent outrageous like Elite, I am quite happy with the price we came to especially considering the rear is getting molded in. We decided on house of kolor candy apple red with a silver base coat. Definitely the place to go to in Florida, if you stop by or need a quote, make sure you tell him Bryan Pacana sent you and he will take very good care of you. Ask for Doug, he is a super cool guy and loves to talk about cars, has been in the business 20+ years.
