Protecting Interior Plastics

Now that I have picked up a daily driver I only drive my 7 once and awhile until I have funds to get the engine rebuilt. I also store tools and stuff in the back. Anyway, my question is this, is there any product out there I can put over my plastic? Kind of like tape, but in sheets, and that won't leave a residue behind...
