Have the shop blend the sides to your car in glass, I hate to see the demarcation lines that tell the world you added something, esp sills.

yes they were bolted on in the wheelwells and in the door sill. i had to countersink some of them in the door jam. i think the body shop counter sunk all of them, cause you can't see them anymore, its all putty. the guy said they had the doors on and off about 100 times before they had it just right.

as far as molding the sides in. i was thinking about doing it, but after seeing this picture i decided it looks pretty good just bolted on.

also im only 18, im about out of money just getting them putting it on and having the car repainted.

since you guys are talking about wings now , what do you think i should get for my car. i have the cwest front and sides, i want to get the old RE diffuser like on hedgehog's car below.

i like the shape of the stock wing, but i dont think it is agressive enough for my setup. what do you guys think would look good on my car? thanks. -steve

edit : ps: i have the volk le37t's in 18"

It definitely looks better, but how well does that hold up to real world use? Does it handle vibration, temp changes, etc., without cracking?

yea i asked the owner of the shop when we were deciding what to do to the car. he mentioned there would be a possibility the putty would crack. plus i dont want to do anything ireversible to the car, who knows what i will think of the c-west in ten years. it could be like the supra style wings people used to put on their cars.

Depends on how much area is needed to be blended to the car........I watched a movie where they blended the TRD widebody kit to an MR2.....took a long time, about 2 to 3 weeks for that and more weeks to paint the bitch after that. But that was an MR2.
