Problem sanded car with 1500 sandpaper

Problem sanded car with 1500 sandpaper

Some one painted my car with can spray. I sanded it off with 1500 sandpaper any way to restore finish?

use 1200 or 1500 to remove the spray can paint, once you hit your OEM clear coat, use 2000 grit on that to finer smooth things out. Make sure with any sanding use the wet sanding method! Then break out the buffer with some 3m rubbing compound, wax on wax off, then use 3m finish restorer, wax on wax off, and your good to go.

wax should be ur last step. Any kind of polish after putting wax on will just cut it off. check out www.autopia.com its a bunch of connseuiers (SP?) who are the kings at detailing cars.

why did someone spray paint your car w/ can paint? was it vandalism, or a ghetto paint job gone wrong?
