I am wanting to put the 4" driver and tweeter of a 3way speaker component set in a pod down against the side floor in front of the doors. I realize I may have to relocate the ECU but am still considering it.

Does anyone sell small pods for mounting the 4" and tweet into which fit into the FD?

Alternatively, does anyone have any plans for building some pod for this use in an FD?

Are you talking about kick pods? I looked into an FD application for those and I found that NO ONE makes them. You'd have to do some custom fiberglassing and fab a pir of your your own. BTW, I don't know that this would even be a good idea. FD driver and passenger footwells are tiny, and IMO, installing kick pods there would be intrusive.

 

True... but I didn't think that kickpods for a tweet and a 4" driver would have to be very deep or big? I was considering a three way component setup with the 6.5" driver in the door.
