Pre-auto sleek lights on black FD

As the title states, here are a few pics of the headlights on my black FD. In the current state though, I have the light covers taped down, and the housings sitting on top of the tubs. I'll be adjusting them at a later time once I get the beams aimed, and a few other things sorted out. Again, nothing is in fixed position, so there should be some gaps present. The only purpose of this post was to show how the lights looked on a stock looking black FD, due to a few request from some members.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering what they would look like on a black fd. I really like these lights but not sure if I like the clear cover on the black. The cover seems to make the lights stand out a bit too much. Maybe it is different in person.

Could you take a couple of pictures without the cover? Although I like the idea of having the cover to help protect the lights. The only other option would be tinting the covers but that may affect the light output too much.

Actually, you have it exactly right. The light covers do make the lights stand out more, and as you say, pictures (of lights especially) rarely give the same feel as they do in person. Personally, I think they resemble the NSX style lights, so I went on ahead and got he covers. I also feel that they complete the kit, and tie it into the stock look.

Exposed headlights (in black) do look good as well (mine are primed black for the time being, so they will be dull). I'll take some pictures of the lights tomorrow when its light, and post them up for you to get an idea.
