power output of factory stereo, 2nd gen?
Dos anybody know the power output (RMS? peak?) of the factory stereo in the second gen RX-7. I have the radio/tape unit that has separate factory amps for the dash and rear speakers. trying to figure out how much (or how little) power I have.
Also, later second-gens that had the factory CD (same manufacturer as earlier unit -- Clarion?) had door woofers with an amp, but apparently did NOT have separate amps for the small dash speakers and the rear speakers. Is that stereo better/worse than what I have.
I'm one of those boring "stock as a rock" guys, so probably want to stay with existing stereo -- unless I could find a Blaupunkt or something with an orange display and no screaming colors/graphics.
All comments appreciated.

Blaupunkt actually does make some really cool head units with basically orange displays, thinking of one of these for my car. I was thinking of a blue one to match my car ;0
