Hey, you two with the Eclipses :
I was thinking of going with an 8443 (or whatever the higher-end powered unit is called). Eclipse's site & catalog confused me a bit... Do the newer decks play MP3s, or do they actually require the extra voice control module to do so?
And a dumb little question: Do they have separate amp-remote-turn-on and power-antenna-activate wires? In otherwords, will the damn thing extend the antenna even though you're only listening to CDs?
Thx. I'm done hijacking now

I believe there are separate turn-ons for the antenna and the amps. I don't think my antenna goes up unless I have the radio on.
