Omochi- sometimes I wish I had ordered something a little more conservative too so I'll know for sure that I won't rub, cause with my luck I will, but I just couldn't help getting as wide as possible, or so I thought til I saw REH's car, haha.

well i rub in the front sometimes with my +45 but that's because my fender isnt rolled.. i think if you roll yours, your size and offset will be fine.
as for a little more conservative.. no you dont- trust me! :P i'm regretting (kinda) my choice for the rears! :o

Yeah I know what you mean. I don't want to have rubbing issues but even moreso I want to fill out the wheel wells as much as possible like our good friend REH here. Either way, if it rubs I'll just roll the fenders til it doesn't, haha. How long have you had your wheels? Why don't you sell them and get what you want? There has to be someone on the forums that will want your wheels.

i've had the wheels and tires only since january! so as much as i'd wnat to sell them, it wouldnt be a wise financial decision with the hit i'd be taking. some 240 guys i know are suggesting the KICS 15mm spacers so we'll see. that'd definitely fill the rear out!

One thing I had to do when I went from 17's to 18's is raise the ride height. A bigger problem than fender rubbing was the middle of the tire was hitting the frame. I even had to remove the plastic fender inner lining. I'm glad I did because the tire was actually rubbing through some of the wires in the wiring harness!

So did you re-route the wires? If so, where did you route them? My driver's side fender lining has a huge hole in it due to my stock suspension SUCKING at Deal's Gap. The tire was rubbing the fender itself, there's a big spot with no paint, haha. That's solved now though, bwahahaha.

It seemed the inner fender lining was holding up the harness, so when I removed them I just tucked the harness up and tie strapped them. ArchangelX told me that this a common problem with FD's. If your tire rubbed a hole in the lining, I would check the wiring harness for wear.

Well I'll be checking that soon, thanks for the info. Where you tied them, would there be a chance your tire could hit it again if your suspension gave way too much? I'll be checking this out soon.

You might want to look at your tires, to me they look like they are backward (look at the thread pattern). If they are directional tires, the V pattern should point to the front.
