Apex-i siderkirts best looking IMO.

CAll Chuck at Rotary Extreme. He made replicas for a few of us because the originals are not only expensive but hard to find as well.

I think that the price ($300) is for one skirt not the set.

Very interesting if they have them. Because before I purchase my set from Chuck, I was in the market for these and no one had them in stock. As it turned out it was sort of a special order item from Japan. For the set it was gonna be $600 + shipping.

Chucks price was much cheaper but it's actually irrevelant since I was part of a group buy.

montego, i do agree the apexi sides are pretty much best looking; especially if it's molded in

the rotary xecret apexi sides should be $300 for both.

btw, how much did the apexi sides go for during the group buy? and i just checked out the site, and they don't have it?

thanks once again

I was curious so I called rotary xecret and they are $300 each not for both. That is why when you select the sideskirts on their website it has a +300 on the menu.

In the GB we got them for $375 for the pair. If you go to nopistons site and look under the GB section you will find it.

they are nearly impossible to find now, and after shipping they are close to $700 a set no matter where you look.

Unless it was done recently, I believe Chuck at RE made replicas of the Mazda aftermarket side skirts, not the Apex-I

I don't see them anywhere... Can you post a link?

The only skirts that I found look more like Mazda's OEM but they are not $370 though.

Mazda's replicas

VS

Chucks Apex-i replicas.

About six months ago Chuck had a GB for Apex-i replicas.

That's a nice pic, Teddy

*I have an old Press Telegram article on SS7 that has a color pic of your engine bay (with your head in the reflection of the intake box). U want it as a souvenir?

montego, yeah that's the one i saw. the only real difference that u can really tell between the apexi and factory mazda is that cut off point @ the top. where the apexi squares off in a straight cut line, the mazda factory rather fades all the way up top.

but overall, they would pretty much look the same if it would be molded in w/ the body.

I believe that's the GP Sports kit. I like the Lip on it but the holes are just a bit too large for my liking.

Because first of all, you're stuck with those sideskirts on for the rest of your life unless you want to do some serious trashing/body work. And second, there is a possibility the molding area can crack over time
