what do you guys think about black FDs with red interior , im debating whether to take out my black leather and stick in some red leather , just wanted to get some opnions , thanks

I'm not sure I would like it in my car but it will be fairly unique so I say go for it. Swap them out and see how you like it. You can always swap them right back and sell the red ones if you don't like them.

 

Red interior is awesome! I love it in my Silverstone and I think it would look really good in a black RX-7.

 

i never liked red interior in anything. So my vote is obviously no.

 

Nah, I think black looks so much better than the red.

It actuallk looks kinda nice. ZumSpdRX-7 has it from the factory in his car, and it's quite nice. PM him, see if he has any pics.

 

i like red. but only if u leave sone origional black, so in moderation, yes, but if it's all changed especially if it's bright red i'd say no.

 

i like it! as long as there is some black and red both, along with some red neon not ricey neon though....

 

id stick with the black, dark red isnt bad, but black, IMO is better, def. not bright red....., so my answer is no unless its dark dark red and YOU like it

 

I personally dont like all black interiors - so my vote is for RED.
I would go with the 93 style interior with the red on the seats, headliner, bins, and door panels, as opposed to the 94+ style with the red seats & carpet but black door panels & headliner.

Red looks cool but I can see where it would get tiring to look at after a while. They would show dirt and fading more so than a black, grey or tan also.

 

Go for red. Especially with black exterior it looks HUGE

Personally I even like silver exterior with red interior (no I am not a ***).

 

I say keep the black interior. I'm more into a conservative look. Red would definitely look different though.

Marix, those rims are the sweetest looking rims for an fd. That's why I bought them too!

I'm not a fan of the red. You notice the seats before you notice the outside of the car. As beautiful as the FD is why would you want to take attention away from the body???

red seats rock, but for the console...keep it black

 

Just swap the seats for some red ones.
