Hi there.

I am polishing aluminium door sills/ scuff plates right now.

I have got the oxide off and have moved to 800 paper. Here is my problem: I touch it and it gets black. I move the sandpaper and it gets black. I tried the 1500 paper and it just moves the black stuff around.

And idea what to do? Will a final buffing takes all this out??

Yes final buffing removes the black sanding dust. Dont worry. Search polishing/Fd3BOOST. I must have made a gazzillion post about how to polish your parts.
