Would it be possible to take apart the headlight assembly of my FD which holds the bulb and polish the glass so it does not have any of those rough ridges that diffuse the light emitted from the bulb? I figure since it is made in 2 pieces I could treat it as I did my taillights when converting to '99 spec and use a heat gun to pull the glass off the front. Then just polish it with finer and finer sand paper, wetsand, buff, and reassemble with more sealant glue. The reason I ask is because I have true HID's and love the way the newer cars have clear lamp housings. I have even seen replacement assemblies that are clear, but not the exact size for the FD. just curious what you guys think.
