Polished goods..

I just got stuff polished by Garfinkle. Just wanted to share his works.

All the useless opening were sealed up and polished.. I have to say.. I'm very happy with the result.

Ditto, what is that crafty looking thing?

And that is some awesome polishing. How much does he charge to do something like the alternator? That must be a huge PITA to polish.

It IS a PITA...that's why a lot of people just won't do the alternator lol.

The route I'm taking is gonna be having GothamRacing do it. Check it out:
http://www.gothamracing.com/catalog/...roducts_id=490

They replace the bushing and diode while they're at it. They can even paint the stator if you want

That alternator is bad ***. I'm going to get mine done by them with a red stator.

It was done by Mr. Garfinkle's son, Jeremy. He's very reasonable.. Between 10-15 an hour.. And very honest about how much time he spends. I'm super happy with the result and price. He's now polishing my JDM (1998) UIM.

LOL!
Don't you guys know your own engine bays?
If you don't have a 3rd gen, I forgive you Although I'm not sure if the other gens have it, too.

Look under your radiator filler cap, the one next to the alternator, and tell me what you see.....

Flybye is correct.. Its the filler neck.

The JDM UIM don't have any hole for the emissions.. I'll take some pics of it and post it.. It should be ready in next couple of weeks.. Man.. It was pain in the *** taking my waterpump housing out of the car.. I do not recommend.

So, are you still going to Rotary Revolution??

Holes for emissions...so I take it no connection to the airpump, since they don't have one, right? I dunno wut else is coming off the UIM for emissions.

Did you need to take out the waterpump housing to get the filler neck out?

Oh and as for Rotary Revolution, I don't have a choice LOL. I have be there. And I'm def. looking forward to it You??

I had to take out the oil metering lines to take the housing out.. It was pain in the *** and I almost broke the oil lines..

I'm definitely going.. And we are planning to go out on Friday night..

Going out Friday night, eh? Indy is FAR from me...and I have no plans on driving my car up, so it'll take 6 hours easy.

That, coupled with the fact that it's a Friday, and Friday traffic absolutely SUCKS lol...im simply aiming to get there BY Friday haha. We'll see tho how things play out as it gets closer...
