I know this is an RX-7 Forum, but there aren't very many porshce forums and if i find one it seems to be really small. and the porsche 924S is a lot like the 2 gen rx-7 nad my friend "TriTurbo" said that a lot of people on here have 924S's. What my question is, is how to take the stock stereo out, i have put rods in those 4 corner holes a few inches and it is supposed to come out but it isn't. I was wondering if anybody has done this and what exactly did you do?

Typically you put "rods" (I use pieces of coat hanger bent into a "u" shape) into the holes and then gently pry them towards the center of the radio while pulling. This will disengage the latches.
