Unhappy PLZZZZ HELP!!! radio removal

I know this is an RX-7 Forum, but there aren't very many porshce forums and if i find one it seems to be really small. and the porsche 924S is a lot like the 2 gen rx-7 nad my friend "TriTurbo" said that a lot of people on here have 924S's. What my question is, is how to take the stock stereo out, i have put rods in those 4 corner holes a few inches and it is supposed to come out but it isn't. I was wondering if anybody has done this and what exactly did you do?

thank you very much

Go to Autozone and buy a ford DIN extraction tool for about $3.

This should have been listed in the Audio section rather than the ecu section

Is it budging at all? How far out have you gotten the radio before it became stuck?

Are all wires/cords disconnected from the radio yet?

Need more info in order to help you out.

How about a hammer and chisel?

If I weren't relatively new to this forum, I'd ask that this thread be deleted. Just because the GEN2 body style is similar to the 944 doesn't mean this is a logical place to ask questions about a Porsche stereo. . . .

. . . . or you could just delete it anyway???

The whole world is pointing and laughing. . . . .
