Donny has a grogeous conversion...do a search for his name in the 3rd gen forum.

Also, this car:
http://www.importspeedsouth.com/joserx7.htm

and before you ask, both cars have the apexi side skirts

I had my 99 spec lip carbon fibered, the nose clip isn't on yet but should be finished here soon.

The wing isn't on either but I will post pics when completed, probably in this thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...20#post3067220

if you have the cash, mazdaspeed makes an 99 spec carbonfiber lip:

Anyone have a black Fd with a 99 spec front end without license plate? I wonder what that looks like.

I don't know what you are referring to unless you are seeing something I'm not. There are two cars on that page. The first car has a regular FD front end (look at the turn signals). The second car (scroll down the page) looks like a Mazdaspeed GTC (or replica) front end.

btw, the pettit bumper is far better fitting in person than what people made it out to be. it looked like an oem piece versus some POS fiberglass knock off. after seeing it at the revolution, i don't think i'd hesitate to buy it. but i already have the real thing and i personally like the authenticity of it

someone was tellin me at the revo that they think it looks like it's smiling when it's in the rear view. the plate holder makes it what it is, imo.

Most people agree, that FD is one of the most well respected cars on this forum. It was built by Wael but now resides in the hands of Fritz Flynn. It was built for the track and is now raced by Fritz. You can find a lot of videos of it in the Race Car Section.

Also, Wael made the coolest headlight conversion there is

That CYM is damn sweet IMO! As for the mirrors, IIRC, they are from a BMW M Roadster and were retrofitted to that FD. To each their own whether you like them or not. Here's another pic of the car:

If you go to the Importspeedsouth.com website, where you found the picture, click on the Featured Cars section and look for an RX-7, you might find some interesting information.

Oh but i'm Soooo lazy. I'll bet the info is contained in this paragraph. I'll read it tomorrow
Next up were some fancy shiny wheels!!! Jose needed something aggressive, yet elegant to match the simplistic lines of his new RX. Nothing but Racing Hart could fill that task, with the huge reputation in producing some of the best wheels out in the market. 18x8.5 sat in the front and a nice and wide 18x10 sat in the rear. Nitto Extreme NT555 wrap the rims (225/45 in the front, 275/35 in the rear) while Racing Beat springs and Tokico 5way adjustable shocks set off the suspension.
