Pioneer DEH-P9600MP Head Unit Problems

when i press open so the first face can slide down and show the other face thats in the back, none of the buttons work. the head unit only works when its closed. i cant adjust anything. i just want to know if this can be fixed or time for a new deck. i tried wigging the face while it is slid down to see if a connection was loose but it doesnt look like it.
thanks

You can try to get a new face. How long have you had it. If its over 1 year i would get a new one if not return it to where you got it and get a new one.

He beat me to it. It's usually the ribbon cable. Found on Ebay for dirt cheap.

Oh and nice headunit btw. My fav headunit of all time is the Pioneer Premiere DEH-P960MP. Mmmm
