????? It's just a bizarre way of doing it when Jap cars have turn signal wiring on the side of the front fenders...be tidier to do that I guess
I'm going to get the wiring through the gromits in the door I reckon, make for a tidier job.

This is my view as I would see from glancing at the mirror while maintaining my head facing forward; the mirror adjusted as far out as possible.
For me (the way I have the set adjusted - I'm 5'9"), the rear fender just appears withing the view . I generally have my mirrors adjusted all the way out, so that sides of the car doesn't appear, but this is acceptable.
I will be redoing my seat mounts to add a slight recline, so I might have to revisit this issue later. I'll see about posting pics of the passenger side mirror view next week. I've got masking on the window on that side, so need to take it off.
Sorry for the bad pic:

A couple things I noticed during installation:
Ganador was nice enough to include an 8mm wrench, but it really is a pain to use given the installation process. One needs to reach up into the door thru the speaker opening (with the door panel removed, if it wasn't obvious) into a very cramped space; you have to do everything by feel. Do yourself a favor and get a ratcheting wrench such as this, it will make the installation MUCH quicker:

Also, the foam gasket is really flimsy, and looks like it'll crumble without much effort. When you cinched the mirrors down, the foam becomes tightly compressed, but I still feel it will detoriate and make a mess down the road. I'm going to find a rubber gasket material to replace it.

dclin--I had my Ganadors for quite sometime, unless they changed the material. I had no problems with the seal that came with it, and it rains ALOT in Japan.

Since there is a GB going on in the US for these mirrors, I wonder if you could update us on your installation? Specifically, how and where did you wire the turn signals on the mirror?

No it's not Turbo'd
Those are Side Markers, and don't flash when you turn on the turn signal... that's what the '99 spec Turn Signals / Parking Lights are for.... Besides even if they pulsed on top of being a side marker... you wouldn't want the mirrors to be "On" constantly when driving around... with the headlights on...

Where to tap for turn signals
Bumping an old thread, as I haven't been able to find the answer through my searching.
For those with LED Super Mirrors in Carbon Fiber... where did you tap for your turn signals? I would prefer to tap in the column area, but am open to whatever works.
Thanks,
