Yeah, I'm still here
I just got done painting my car, so after taking it apart and putting it back together, coupled with pod productions, a REAL job and the "honey-do" list, I don't get much time to post.

As far as warp speed driving at night, I do agree that the traffic can be a reason, but in my area we have way too many nocturnal animals that make it very interesting at high speed; possum, raccoons, deer and elk. If you've never seen an elk on the road in front of you while doing triple digits then I can assure you it will give you a gray hair or two, as well as ruining a pair of briefs (or boxers if you go that way).

Regards,
Frank

Frank, I'm sure your crazy busy. The incredible quality of those pods definitely makes it worthwhile tho...I can't thank ya enough!

ELK you say? OMG...that would definitely make me stain my briefs lol. We only have a deer problem, and that's in certain areas (not so much on the highway... more on those single lane back routes, cuz they're built straight thru the forest haha). Wow. I would imagine hitting an Elk at any speed would totally trash your car...much worse than a deer. Those things are HUGE (from the pics I've seen).

Anyways...it's definitely good to hear from ya. Congrats on finishing up the car. Hope it didn't give ya too much trouble!

~Ramy

PS...I feel for you for the "Honey-do" list...cuz in most cases, that list is on-going and open-ended

There you go rubbing in the fact that you have the KS sleepy eyes....grrrr lol.

I've actually been 165 ONCE (on the way back from Rotary Revolution), and it was at night, so my stock pop-ups were up...and they stayed on...lol (thank God)

Very nice setup, I've thought about doing something like this myself. It would really look great with a bezel.

My H.I.D. sleepy eyes

Here's my setup that I did a while back.

They still operate up and down normally, with the motor mod I did.

damn, that looks badass...get some night shots of that. Maybe you can do a write up on that for me? I really could use a better lighting system and that is exactly what I'm looking for. I'd probably go with hella HID lights or Phillips though. Keep the pictures comin

1234rotor,

What type of bulb setup is that?
How much did they set you back?
More importantly, what's the lighting quality?

With the kit I had? I never could find them. But they were just foglights. Honestly, in So Cal you never need high beams and the HID low beams I had light up the road like the sun.

It says in 1234rotror's profile that the lights are "infiniti HID's". I guess you could go through their model line and figure out which one has elipse-shaped headlights.

That's a good job and all, but it makes the car look just like a Corvette.

except for the fact that that fog light has two bulbs and 1258s has one.
