The car looks great Type RZ . You are right about the lowering. It becomes almost sickening watching for dips, bumps, and holes in the road.

Yeah, but that would make it even more expensive since they go for about the same in japan and then you have to pay for shipping cost, which is gonna probably be half of what the bumper cost, wait for customs to go thru your crap, especially now with the dock strike, and then pay the taxes. Which would make it even more expensive then getting it thru Motorex, so what idiot would do that? And obviously Type RZ is not an idiot, and bought the copy which I can plainly make out.

Canaman69 sells them from JT-Imports in Japan and they also come with the 99 spec lights with the bumper. It is not listed as an option seperately.

To be honest..besides ripping off the original creator of the kit...what the hell does it matter (besides the moral standpoint).

Fitment and finish can be a problem, I understand that..because it's a copy..but some of the kits are ridiculously overpriced..for example the TRD Action Package.

When my car first came out in 2000...it would have cost $6,000 painted and installed, and EXACTLY a year later they were selling it fully painted and installed for $1500 bucks.

Complete BS. The kits are nice.....but some of them just aren't worth the price.

One things for sure, kits for the RX-7 are sure as hell alot cheaper than kits for my Celica and WRX.

Looks great, love the front end but you need a FMIC to fill it end. Get a different wing though. The 99 wing would look much better.

Motorex sometimes acts as the middle man when dealing with C-West. I got my real C-West full kit from a shop called Import Adrenaline, however they got the kit from Motorex. Crashunit knows his stuff, and I wouldn't doubt him ever. Just thought I would throw in my experience with the whole thing. Shameless plug coming, BTW: I'm selling my authentic c-west kit with combo lights for $2100 if anyone is interested.

don't like the wing, don't like that it looks like the hood is unpainted, and the front end doesn't look like it fits very well. But I like the wheels!

Actually from what I've been hearing you can import any type of car you like, as long as you dont drive it on the street and keep it as a drag car or trailer queen. Going thru motorex allows you to keep your car, do whatever you want to it and have it registered at the same time. Some cars are also only allowed a certian amount of time period to stay as well, then you have to junk it or send it back. But I have a friend who is importing a used skyline R33 stright from china or japan I believe, alot cheaper then going thru motorex, however, it will only be a show car and can never be registered for public use. If it is, however, caught driven on public streets or highways tho, you can kiss that car goodbye.
