Here's the FEED GT wing. I think this is the one you were looking for.

If the pics don't work, check here:
http://www.fd3s.net/wing/index.html#FE1

Or did you mean the GT2 wing?

Also from the same site, if the pic doesn't work.

Neither. The pics (before the ones you posted) are of the wing I was wanting pics of.

So far so good guys. Others feel free to post pics of yours as well

If you are balling out of control and wish to pay for the "real thing" I'm sure FDNewbie can get it for you + shipping from FEED.

Hey Bryan, thanks for posted the info! Yes, we will start to sell our copy of this wing by next week and the price is $495 + shipping.

I will have the offcial sell thread with all the detail photos posted in our vendor forum, stay tune

Cheers,
Johnny

lol amazing how you all can just disregard the people who designed it and make copies, then profit. at least send a letter to FEED saying thank you and telling them that they are suckers for losing out on lack of patent laws internationally.

Maybe you should ring all the companies in the group buy section and moan at them for copying instead of posting on a forum and hiding behind a keyboard? Talk to them face to face since you obviously have an issue with all of them, plus every other body kit manufacturer in the world that produces copies.

Unfortunately, you and I both know that moaning about a gripe I have won't change much because what's legal is simply just "done". There's a demand for it, and some people will be the supply.

FEED doesn't charge "ridiculous amounts of money". Maybe if you just moved over to FD's from working on Hondas, it may feel that way. Take a second to look at some Euro parts, like Hamann or Rieger. That is expensive.

On the other hand, FEED designs everything from scratch, specific for the FD. And we're talking a relatively decent size garage, one location doing all of this. Aero, tuning, internals, etc.

I have no reason to hide, I do my own thing, as you do yours. But I do have a gripe over FD owners not understanding the class of their car, and putting on copies, crappy paint and turbos off ebay. I know I'm just one of many people on this forum that feel the same way, and see FD tuning go down the drain. This is something that is inevitable I suppose, since the car ends up costing about 15k for a relatively good condition car, so it pulls in kids with the "get pimp quick" scheme for the car.

So why do I care if it isn't my car?

Because I consider you all to have a connection with me in a sense that we have picked up this specific machine and have put our love and time into it. It's just disappointing when some don't give the FD the respect it deserves.

I apologize for this total tangent of a topic on this thread. And for that, here's my contribution to the thread.

$1500 FOR A WING isnt rediculous to you? Especially when you include shipping from japan so it ends up being $1600-1700, THEN YOU PAINT IT for another $100-150 for a total near $2000 to get a silly wing on your car. You are nuts. If you are used to paying such crazy prices then you have been getting ripped off for a long time. The FD was a $38k car when new. This isnt some exotic ferrari or something. $38k, thats barely more than a loaded S2000 or G35. Parts for them arent crazy expensive either.

If feed wanted to sell parts, they would lower their prices some. As is, they are a company selling for crazy high prices for the name. Well... just like in clothes, and other things, the "brand name" doesnt automatically mean I'm going to shell out the money for it if its not made better than the other brand selling at 1/3 the price. (example: designer clothes that are still made in china junk, but people pay crazy amounts for them)

To be honest, $500 is pretty steep for that little wing. Its higher than I'd have hoped for for a copy, but I am glad its made. I likely wont be buying it anytime "soon" at that price, (I was hoping for 200-300 price tag) but I will eventually buy it.

Corvette and viper parts dont even cost as much as you are apparently used to paying for "JDM" parts.

Get off your high horse. Its not like we are putting altezzas and 20's, and heating springs to lower the car. I still expect this to be a *quality* replica. (if its not a quality piece believe me I'll be all over the forum bashing for it being a POS for $500 when I get it. I expect it'll be quality though)

What a prickish thing to say. I'm sure lots of people like you with an attitude like that.

I have money. There is a difference between having money and spending money foolishly. $2000 for a wing is spending money foolishly to me. $500 for a wing is rather pricey, but I'll accept it.

For reference, my FD has 40k miles on it, is in pristine shape, has coilovers, Racing hart wheels, and LS1 power (yeah I know you wont like that, but meh...) I'm not trying to brag by saying that, but its obvious I've spent money on the FD and had to have enough money to get that far. I also obviously paid a premium to get a low mileage example before I chopped it up and spent even more putting an LS1 into it. I will not throw $2000 down the drain to have a wing because it came from some brand known well in japan but hardly known outside of rx7club in the USA. If this were some part with superior quality that wouldnt break (ie: something like shocks, or engine?) I wouldnt mind. But... its a freakin wing. It doesnt even serve a purpose besides looks. No usable downforce will be made by this thing given its mounted to the hatch, not the frame. Any actual downforce it would make to be useful would just bend the hatch down.

I laugh at people in designer clothes that wear out just as fast as the clothes I bought at kohls or jcpenny's. All they do is impress the other guys that spend their money foolishly

I guess I spent my money foolishly when I paid 1244.00 for fender mirrors from RE-Amemiya..daym I', a fool..lol...

It is just all relevant to one persons belief, I on the other hand have some copied parts only because I got very good deals on them but If I were to do it all over again I would go original all the way..

In that case there is no alternative of equal quality at a lower price (at least that I know of) Pricey? Yeah, but obviously worth it to you.

However... I dont see you damning people that are buying copies either

it doesn't at all, the middle section is thin enough that it won't obstruct your view.
