The N1 and N2 don't have any significant differences. I had the N1 installed in my FD for 8 months before moving it to the daily driver. No problems with install at all. Can't put it in the lower DIN because of the shifter. My Mazdaspeed shifter and cheap **** combo also kept the folding screen out, unless in reverse. No biggie, just use cancel the 'auto flap' and do it manually, but that just wears out the motor; always leave it opened up.

This is Hyperite's car

rajeevx7, I assume you just swapped out the bulbs behind the guages to make them white like that? That looks nice, I was hoping to do that myself, I'm not big on the amber or whatever the stock color is.

thats actually hyperite's car. What he did was disassembled the stock gauges and sanded off the amber backing so that it was just plain see thru, thus making the color white.

Replacing the bulbs wouldn't do much, but he is actually going to add more bulbs so the lights look more even, instead of brighter in some areas and very dim in others (check the pics).

Either way, its a BIG improvement and really updates the whole look of the interior. Great job to him.

Heres his thread with his whole process.
