My passenger door speaker is out and it makes a sound like a cd is being scratched when I play the radio. Even when I have the volume all the way down it makes the same noise so I had to move all of the volume to the driver side speakers. Is the speaker blown or is it just a loose wire? btw it's the stock bose system on a 93 touring.

 

Any ideas?
I hope it's not blown cause I just spent all my money on paint

If some one tells me its blown from the description then I won't have to take everything apart to investigate.

its def not blown, because the fact that it makes a noise when the volume is all the way down proves that, i doubt its a blown speaker, but it may be a screwed up amp

 

why dont you get your lazy *** over here and fix it then?

 

It does sound like the amp, but the speaker itself could be blown. That happened to me about a year ago in my FC. I just blew my passenger door speaker too, but I have all aftermarket stuff in there.

 

fix it? okay i will, just give me some cash so i can buy you a new amp
