AB Passengar seat rails not lining up

I tried to seach feverishly for this but everyone says the R1 suede seats from RHD will fit LHD...I got the drivers seat in (my drivers/RHD passengar) no problem...I went to put in my passengar seat (RHD driver seat) and it won't line up on the bolts...when I turned the seat over I saw that the rails are not parallel to each other...the side closest to the door is is like 2-3 inches back so I can oly hook up the left side...had anyone had this issue?

I dont see how one could readjust the rails really...my old seat fits fine so possibly I can remove the rails and use those?

One rail is 2" back? Sounds like you need to lift the handle that lets the seat slide forward and back and line the rails up. When not mounted they will move independent from each other.
Or did i read this wrong and its another issue?

Hmmm....maybe I will try that and see tonight...if it is that I will feel super smart lol...although in my defense I spent 13+ hours painting and changing over tan to black interior so my brain was shutting down at the end.

I did everything but the headliner...I do have the black one and sunroof cover but I noticed that in my tan headliner it has a small carpet-like trim around where the sunroof is...on the black one I got it does not have that...I was worried that missing that carpet peice might allow lot of wind/road noise...thoughts?
