Hey, I have a 93 R1 red rex, and I was wondering how much it would run me around to paint it white.

This includes the engine bay, and the whole shabang.

 

depends on the qaulity of the job white is usually the cheaper kind of paint as to red is more expensive but i paint my own cars so i can do i for pretty cheap.

 

Good quality white shiny and whatnot, I was wondering how expensive it is to pull things apart as far as door panels, engine bay, and rear hatch... I don't want to open my white door to find the inside old red yknow?

What do you paint your own cars with?

 

Take as much as you can off the car yourself, that will help bring the price down.

 

a good paint job can run you anywhere from $3000 to $10000. it all depends on the actual color, how many coats you want, etc. definately doing most of the prep work yourself will save you a few bucks

 

I know a body shop that will do quality work for around $1300 for a full respray including door jams and engine bay. Using 5 year dupont paint.

It's in Tijuana though...
