Painting my car, what color?

I am in the process of figuring out what color to paint my car. I was thinking Z06 electron blue, or a S15 Metallic Gunmetal. So which do you guys think would be best?

Any other suggestions is welcome... PLEASE be serious!!! No pink, purple, or any other weird colors.

IMO, unless it's a show car, keep it the original color.

Couldn't agree more. Black, IMHO, is the ideal FD color.

I would like to make it a show car. I know how to paint, but I just cannot decide on the color. I want something unique, there are too many black cars out there. Color like white, red, black, are just plain factory colors.

I painted my old car a porsche color. Its was a silver bluish color and was the best color I ever came up with. It almost looked like silver with a blue pearl. If u want to find the color look at the color sheets for the 1999 or 2000 DuPont colors. I think it was in there.

For me now, I paint ALL my cars Chevy White(the whitest white). It blinds you when you look at it in the Cali sun.

My fav color would be the 99-spec white, but that's just me. I'm not even sure if there's a difference from the "chaste white" that we got over here... with a 99-spec front of course

Spirit R gray/gunmetal is always nice, too. Are you going to paint the engine bay/door jams as well?
I see that you have a lot of power mods planned soon.... congrats! You should get together with Stephen & Phil and terrorize the whole region!

If it's going to be a show car, you should look into the Kandy colors. However, I would still say stay with the stock Black.

white!!! I never liked white cars untill I bought my white FD. I don't think I'd ever go for another color FD. It brings out all of the curves more than any other color.

So when/if you change the color; are you going to tear down the car to completely change the color?
