Painting

Ok so say i had a FD and i wanted to paint it, by that i mean get it painted. I asked my brother (works for pacific BMW) and he said his body shops could paint any 200 a body panel. Is that cheap? and how much would that make a whole car? Thanks for the help! Where are some other cheaper places that paint in the
LA Area?

Look in your local phone book and call around. Cheap and good do not go together for painting.

For a good paint job expect to pay 5-6k at a reputable shop. That means removing the glass (front & rear) and stripping the car down to the metal.

Why are you wasting bandwidth by posting a thread about painting a car you don't even have yet that may or may not require a paint job?

As the others said, good paint job and cheap do not go together. High quality body shops in the Bay Area charge $6-10k for a full repaint, I'm sure it's similar in LA.

Read the other thread dude. You have no license, you have no permit. Don't buy a lightweight 250+ hp RWD sportscar.
