Painted my stock rims on my FD

I know I'm opening myself up to be flamed by all the people that think painting FD rims is wrong. But I thought I'd share anyway. Got tired of the stock silver ones and don't won't to spend the money on some nice aftermarket ones yet. Got a few more performance upgrades to buy first.

Did you paint them before getting new tires? It looks like the paint is scratched off from mounting the tire.

Thanks!

Haven't switched the tires out. That was an extra set of rims that I bought off of somebody locally for real cheap. The tires are a bigger size and make the car have that 4x4 look. should be fixed when I swap the tires out. The one rims is a bit scratched from where I was trying to get some of the overspray off the tires before I took the pictures. I need to go back and touch it up. If it keeps scratching off I will go have it powdercoated. Just didn't want to spend 50 a rim for powdercoating if I wasn't sure if I would like the gunmetal look or not.
