painted my 99 Spec Splitter

Just got my bumper, and splitter painted. What do you guys think?

nice, although it might have looked better unpainted with the feed side skirts you have there

I like it like this cause it looks like it is part of the bumper.

looks great! I personally only like the unpainted front lip and unpainted feed sides on black cars, so I say you should paint the feed sides as well. makes them seem more like they belong on the car to me, just my opinion, I'm sure others will disagree.

I though of that too, but it is tuff for me to paint carbon fiber.

Agreed. I would either paint them both or not paint either of them.

It looks nice. I would not choose to paint mine because as you know they get road rash from debris and curbs or what have you. You will have to inevitably have to paint it again at some point. Regardless I think you have done an A1 job with your car from what I have seen and it looks great.

Shoulda left that monkey black. PARTICULARLY since you have the the only skirts that actually match the raw lip.

I have to say that I think it looks better painted, even though the sides are back. Makes the front look more complete and more mean.

You considering using some 3M clear tape to protect your lower lip from rocks? I was thinking of using that if I had a painted lower lip.

Thats Not a bad idear.. I think it looks hot painted.. Im not gonna lie. i think it was meant to be painted. Wait till I put the light back in, and detail it. I will post a pic. You will all be painting them

Plus I am considering buying some different side skirts. If anyone is interested in a nice set of feed side skirts. i may consider the thought. They are only 3 months old with mabe 200 miles on them. Perfect shape. Not in a hurry, but im just pondering the thought.
