get urethane primer w/ activator
one gallon of paint will do
get the activator for the paint to mix one gallon of paint
get a half gallon of clear coat
thats base coat/clear (2 stage job)
youll want 3-4 layers of primer, sand it down, prep it, spray the base, (blue) 3-4 layers, sand it down LIGHTLY, spray your clear, 4 layers, let it dry, wet sand the whole bitch down with 2000 grit, buff it out, it will look like show room quality..
all in all youll spend around 400$ for materials
PS. --single stage looks like *** (maco 200$ job)

no problem, i know a lot about painting cars, ive done over 10 from my garage. Ill post back with a link of pics to some of the cars ive done. I am considering opening a body shop or starting something like that out of my garage.
I read in the 3rd gen forums about some guys FD that he just got back from the bodyshop. It received a full paintjob for $2,000 and according to what he said, they did a crappy job, and they didnt do the doorjambs, engine bay or trunk!!!! for 2 grand!! i charge 1500 for full job, door jambs, rear trunk, doors, hatch, and partial engine bay!
I take pride in more work, when i paint up someones car, i treat them like they are my own, LOTS OF TIME AND PATIENCE. painting can be tricky at times! When the car is all done, MIRROR finish, last year i sprayed my 7 XXX black, My GF can fix her hair in the reflection of my hood!!!

Pics of my 7 are at the bottom of the page. I did up that silver CRX, but i dont have the pics of it after i painted and bodykitted it. I painted the yellow civic hatch and installed bodykit/did all bodywork. That red CRX, i did the same with that, installed kit, fixed the entire body..
