Opinion on pinstriping - No flames please

Sorry if this makes me a total geek but ever since I was in high school I thought it would be cool to have a black car and do pinstriping on it to look like the holodeck in "Star Trek: The Next Generation". I've got a black car now and have been experimenting a bit with the idea. What do you think? Yes, I know this is shoddy "photoshopping" but it's quick-and-dirty.

IMHO - looks like total ***...

BUT - if you do do it and you ever get a dent/scratch, it will be super cheap to fix as you'll only have to paint a 4"x4" area - lol

Yes, the red stripe is already on it. That's why I didn't think the yellow would look much worse.

Perhaps there's a custom hard top to be built?

Yes, I know I have mismatched tailpipes. I've only had the car 3 weeks.

No, I wouldn't really stripe my car to look like the holodeck. Painting it silver is another matter though...

I've been considering doing a silver/black 2 tone on my FC coupe. Split along the line that runs from the top of the tails to the front bumper. Then do a little silver pinstripe on the black side and a black pinstrip on the silver side right where they meet to tie it together.
