Talking "Old School" RE-Amemiya Diffuser Installed [PICS]

Here's the "Old School" RE-Amemiya Diffuser installed and coated with Line-x to protect it and make it blend with the front lip.... I'm thinking about adding a set of Feed Side Skirts (Rails) to the mix in black or black CF, to make the Black on Red look complete.... while not drastically altering the stock R-1 Look....

Very nice. I like it much better than their newer model. It fills out the back of the car without being the center of attention.

I think so, it looks more gentle than the newest diffuser. Can avoid the cop's attention. Would you mind to tell us where can get it?

There's links on the page where the pictures came from (My web site) to Rotary Extreme and Line-X where I had it coated... You'd have to ask Chuck (e-mail) if you can buy one, since he doesn't officially sell them on his web site...

I had my truck bed coated with Line-X. It's very tough, flexible and durable. It also holds the black color well. Your diffuser will never crack now-- even if you peeled all the fiberglass away, the Line-X would remainin one piece

That looks alot better then the newere diffuser. How was the fitment with it? I've heard some have had problems.

And the line-x'd feed sideskirts would look really good with the lip and diffuser.

I'm thinking of having the sideskirts and the front lip done, in spite of them coming in CF and Polyurathane so they all match in texture.... but that'll be a while... I'll try to get some pictures of it in the sun, since those were taken late last night before exhaustion set in.... not due to the diffuser install but due to running around town doing errands on the first weekeday off in 2 years

As to fitment... it's not perfect, but from what you can see in the pictures it looks pretty good. Me and my body shop have some ideas on improving it, but that won't come untill I re-paint my bumper.... Either before or after SS7....

I'm toying with the idea of painting the entire car.... but am lacking $$
For now (I just have to work harder)

Looks good! I'm trying to figure out what to coat mine with... I too want it to look identical to the lip. Some daytime pics would be great!!

Are you satisfied with it? Match pretty closely with the stock lip? And how much did it cost?
