RX7 RAGE: I just got a used OEM side skirt now I have to match my car paint color. Did the side skirt you got came with factory color? Have you repaint them? Also did you used double sided tape to install it similar to the Mud Guard?

Thanks

BC

[QUOTE=RX7 RAGE]I think it's worth it and I got luckier, paid 400 on ebay for my red oem sides. Better than paying 1300 brand new and it matches the FD body so well.

BC - my red skirts matched my VR paint so I didn't paint them..just slapped them on. You have to screw the skirts to the underside of the body and also use double sided tape. You will see where the screws go once you get the skirts.

Wow you are so lucky to get a matching set for the price. I have to repaint it to match my VR R1.

Thanks

Yeah I just picked up a set of oem skirts locally too. I need to get them repainted as well.

Did you have to put some new holes into the body? Cuz I see on the sideskirts that one of the bolt holes don't line up with the original bolts under the car.

Yep, kinda squishy foam with rubber/plastic covering. I just got a brand new set of these a couple of months ago for less than $600 and they are already white like my car, just hope they match my 10yr old chaste white paint. Its gonna be fun trying to read the Japanese instructions. Lookin to put them on soon with my 99 front bumper that needs paint.

Yeah I just got them with my 99 spec bumper too. Waiting to put the skirts on. Although, I do need some wheels.

Did you try to inquire about those erebuni replicas? I remembered you were interested.
