I haven't, but I read that someone used a glue-gun and made everything rock solid.

interior noise

I have not tackeled this either, but when I do I am going to try a liquid silicone for the squeaks. I would not reccomend glueing any of the interior panels unless you are certain you will not be removing them for any reason in the future. I have heard that interior panels are next to impossible to find or prohibitively expensive if you do find them.

Please don't bash me if i'm wrong but FD and FC refer to a 7's body-style?

Anyway, Dynamat or McMaster will fix the metal rattles on your car. For the panels you'll want to get some dempening material in a spray can. Stinger makes some roadkill stuff and I know there are others too. Simply take off the panel and spray the back of it with this stuff. Should take care of most of the rattles.

mazda added more felt to the 2nd gens in later years to cut down on this.

My vert's top squeeks as does the cheap a$$ oversized shifter (POS) that came with the car.

The TII's hatch squeeks, but the lound exhaust covers that up most of the time
