No sound from FD radio speakers, need plug?
Hey all,
After removing my CD changer controller I no longer get any sound from the speakers. I get power to the unit and the antenna comes up, just no sound. The unit is the stock Bose system with the cassette/radio on the bottom and a CD changer controller (not the CD player) on the top. The changer broke and was removed, and now I just removed the controller. I was told I need to get a "plug" that goes where the old controller hooked into the radio heat unit. This plug will connect the pins that power the speakers. Does anyone know by chance if Mazda stocks this as a seperate part and what the part # is? I don't have the parts microfiche unfortunately. TIA.

Its an amp wire.....the Bose system is a self amplified system and if anything is not connected it won't work. You need to test the wires to find which one is the amp wire that hook it up to the turn on accessory lead behind that deck.
