+/- Nippon Rims

I like the looks of the Nippon Racing Wishbone rim, but I need to know if it is of good quality. Now that I have learned that Tenzo rims are gay (oops) I want to find the perfect rim. I will probably get the BBS style rim (Spirit R), but I like to shop around. Let me know, k?

They make a crappy, heavy Volk TE37 clone. Some clones are okay with me, since they are still good wheels (Rota makes some very nice ones -- light, inexpensive), but making a heavy **** wheel that looks like a TE37 sends me running in the opposite direction.

Basically, the cheaper the rims, the heavier they will be. If you aren't concerned with performance, then it's not an issue.

I still have my stock rims on the car because the only rims that I remotely like cost over $500 per rim without tires. That money can definitely be put to better use else where (and not necessarily for my car).

I would suggest that if you do find some rims, at least don't get rims that are skinnier than stock 8".

Stay away from all 3 of these for a rx7 IMO. Most if not all of these companys only make rims 7.5" wide. If you're going to buy rims get something that will upgrade the performance, not only look good.

Are these for a FD or FC?

Good wheels are available from these manufacturers and many others as well:
http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/
http://www.fikse.com/
http://www.kinesismotorsport.com/
http://www.forgeline.com/
http://www.ccwheel.com/
http://www.speedstar.co.jp/

You aren't going to find many good wheels looking at the bling bling ads in magazines.
