I think you should be more patient with posting and also search as this body kit has already been well covered in the Interior/Exterior forums. If you want it, get it.

Gee, another 18 year old who wants to spend thousands on a gaudy, cheesy looking body kit. Let me guess, paid for the car with your own money too, right?

actually i did pay for it myself guy-10,200 and all the parts...and who cares how old you are as long as you love the car and have the oppurtunity to drive one let alone own one. i feel lucky and i could of sworn i told you in the last thread i dont care for your annoying teen discrimative comments-keep quiet this is a forum not a place to make fun of people that are newbies to something. have some respect

You want respect, you have to earn it. When you are out of the house and paying for all of your own stuff, THEN you've bought the car with your own money.

You posted a thread asking everyone's opinion about your potential purchase. Maybe you expected everyone to go "woohoo, strap that cheesy kit on and rice out your ride". Sorry, it doesn't always work that way. Personally I think the kit looks like it was styled to appeal to teenagers and that's about it. Bodykits like that also will cost thousands of dollars to purchase and fit/paint. Sounds like a worthwhile expenditure at this point in your life.....

EDIT: Hey, I just saw a pic of your car in your other thread. Nice GT wing......I guess the Veilside will go right with it!

Have some respect for our forum and move the body kit crap over to Lounge or something.

10,200$, seriously too low of a price for FDs these days.

You *are* being given support and advice, it's just that most are not in agreement with what you're doing. A lot of folks here don't like Veilside kits , and please, in reference to your other thread on the mods, heed what you are being told regarding engine management.

Not so keen on that kit. Have a look at the VeilSide C1 kit, been around for ages but still looks the business!

Wings west do a copy of the VeilSide C1 kit, you see them every now and again on eBay for about $700. Not sure how good it'll be for that price but it's certainly worth considering.

who cares where the money comes from. what's so respect worthy about "earning" it, that's how life is for most people, want a ******* cookie? so some people can get a little more for free, it doesn't make "working" for it any more comendable. if it bothers you, you have problems.

as for the kit, it looks a hell of a lot like a C-west with some minor tweaks. buy it if you want, just have it profesionally mounted and painted right away.

The kit's a little too edgy for me in the front, but otherwise its pretty cool. Just make sure you back up your looks with your performance. I would be much more embarrassed to lose in your car than a more conservative looking one.

My comment about respect had nothing to do with where he got the money, it was regarding his previous reply. And if you really think that earning your own way is not more commendable than having things given to you, I would say that you are the one with problems....

good advice, some part of your post I can agree with...

Go for the 99spec. Its a good clean look. Gives the car a more mature face lift. I like the feed front too but if I had to pick I'd go 99 spec. Personally I'm getting the Pettit hopefully this summer.
