new turn signals on my Montego

hey every1,
My stock turn signals were getting yellowed and were holding moisture inside, so i ordered some new black/smoke turn signals from bananaRE. Fitment was perfect, adn they took 2min to install. I love how they black out the front end for a stealth look. Pictures are to follow. Enjoy!

-Zach

I really like the updated look of those corner lights - that was an awesome project, and my respect goes to the people who brought those to us. It's a great alternative for people who can't afford a JDM front end and '99 spec corner lenses. Just looks great!

Bleh...they don't do anything for me. The change in look from stock is very marginal. Nothing personal, but I can think of a lot of better ways to spend $150.

yes it has been pretty damn cold up here...nothing over 35* for a while...which would explain the dirty FD

SpeedKing, to each his own and no offense taken, but my stockers were lookin like **** and the drivers' side one was taking in water moisture. And these are cheaper than OEM 93 replacements too, so its all about saving money for me plus i wanted the blacked out look on the front end

Guys, does RE modify the stock lenses or replace them? I like the look of the clear lenses, but not the oval lights behind them.

evot23,

Can you post some pics of the front end of you car? I want to see how the lights fit with the sleek lights as a whole.

So how does BananaRE make them? The stock lense looks like it would require a mold to duplicate; it's a 3 dimensional plastic part. That seems a little beyond a weekend project. Is he simply reselling the lense that's available from these two vendors? I'm not trying to be insulting, I just want to get the facts straight.
