hey guys. Am installing a brand new alpine and it turns on fine...after a few minutes it goes crazy turning on and off...it doesnt do it when the ignition is off. any idea what it might be? thanx

 

Check the power/grounds. If they're good disconnect the speakers/external amplifiers and see if it still does it. Could be an overload causing the protection ckts to kick in. If you do all this and it still does it I'd say you got a bad deck.
