you have to use a heat gun at low temps to get the wrinkles out..

Great job! I like to see people tackle projects like this. To me it shows that you are willing to take the time to do things right.

And wrinkles are part of leather. If you manage to get them perfectly smooth at first... they will wrinkle from use.
