Has anyone used the new lacquer paint that schucks carries? They carry primer not sure if its high build and sandable though, orange,red,blue,white black, and silver Suppose to be allready mixd with reduecer and all you gotta due is just strain it out and load in your gun and shoot.

How about the clear coat they carry as well allready mixd and ready to go? I am very interested in this because i cant get ahold of my body/paint guy and i am thinking about tackling this task on my own...

Best part is its only 22 bucks a quart. And i stand by the modo you get what you pay for and im not gonna buy this paint if its just junk and will look like *** once i spray it on my car, cuz i went to wesco paint shop and it will cost 90 bucks after tax to buy 1 gallon of high build sandable primer not mixd gotta know how much catalist to put in your gun...

from what i hear about it all u have to do is prep the car properly , shoot a base, wetsand, shoot color, wetsand, shoot clear, wetsand. then ur done.

 

So how is the quality of this paint ? If i were to add some acirlik(dont knw how to spell it) green pearl to the clear coat would it work with this kind of paint,and not take over the base coat i am using white...

 

The effect your looking for is done in three stages. First your base. Then in what is called a binder you put the pearl. Last comes the clear. If not done this way the pearl will overtake the base color giving you a different effect.

 

If its the product i'm thinking of then its the Duplicolor Paintshop products, which i will be trying soon.
