new interior look. no carpet?

Im tired of my tan seats and carpet. Im pretty much set on some bride low max seats, in black. The ones Scrub just posted about on rotary addicts.

http://www.rotaryaddicts.com/?p=608

But i want to get rid of my old tan carpet also. I was planning on getting some replacement carpet in black, but i started to wonder what it might look like without carpet? Clean and paint it black, or even fab up some carbon fiber floor plates, nothing too elaborate, just simple and functional.

i know this is built from the factory this way,.....and its a ferrari, but the f430 scuderia is kind of inspiring me. It has full interior but no carpets....and i love it. but again.... its a ferrari.... lol

my buddie has a nissan laurel that has no carpet and he just finished putting a liner inside.. it looks awesome.. plus.. it would seal water away from your floor so no rust.. plus its like a truck bed liner so its easy to clean just a thought?
also are you sure you want a full race bucket seat? they make the low max gias in the same style but reclinable thats what im getting in red.

cheers

Alot of added noise if you just remove the carpet and padding.

Go for it. Might look good

It's not permanent anyways, so if you hate it you can always put in a black carpet

That picture looks like a track only car or someone that was too cheap to finish it properly. I see no advantage to going without carpet besides slightly less cost.
