I'm looking into getting the Alpine 9835 though it's discontinued...but I will eBay it! It is only Alpine player that I know of that can match the FD dash lights at night (amber red) with the customizable 512 color options. This unit only matters if you care about matching your lights at night.

I believe the 9855 has the same color options as the 9835.

I got an alpine too, but i forgot what model it is. At first i wanted to match the stock lights of my 7, but after money began to dissappear, i just bought a cheaper one with blue lights, and to be honest, i think it looks damn good. Its really grown on me. And yeah, alpines are great stuff.

I got the JVC KD-AR860, its completely black with red buttons and you can change the display to match the stock gauges perfectly. red buttons with amber display

Yes you can choose any color you want on the 9855 but you can NOT on the 9853. I THINK you can set them on the 9833, but im 100% sure you can on the 9855 and the 9835. I have the cda-9853 and couldnt be happier, other than you cant change the colors

Cool...I'll have to look into the 9855 if it has the 512 colors like the 9835 offers.

Can the 9855 fit. On crutchfield it doesnt show that it will fit. But if the 9835 (previous model without glidtouch) im sure the 9855 can.
