new carpet help

im planing on putting new carpet in my car but i waant it custom. Im redoing my whole interior in tweed and would like the carpet to be that also. ive ripped out the carpet to see how im going to do this and i ran into a problem. i cant go over it or it will be all lumpy, but i need some backing and a shape to put my new upholstery too. Can i get just a plastic mold of our carpets (88 SE) or what? i really need some help on this. thanks

mazdatrix and victory british sell complete sets for fds i think. You will have to do some stitching to take out the folds of fabric. Maybe buy a new set and stitch the new fabric to the new carpet set? That might be the easiest.
