Need opinion on a DVD GPS receiver/head unit...

I am possibly in the market for a good DVD GPS reciever for my 7. Just curious if any of you guys ever deal with these type of receivers and could give me an opinion on it. I am looking not to spend over $1500.00.

Bring it on guys, tell me what you know!!!

Pioneer unit is amazing, all in one, great overall quality as well. Right around the $1500 mark

Hey Leo,
Looks like the main difference between the N-1 and N-2 is that the N-2 has xm satellite radio built in, where as the N-1 requires an extra decoder. I haven't seen one in person yet, but I remember drooling over them when they first came out. Of course, a double din screen would be very nice...that way it wouldn't get in the way of your a/c controls when the screen is open.

pioneer sux ***!!! The eclipse one is decent but is a double din.....i'd say go alpine is more money but is pretty good reliable and the warranty is great/ plus it does'nt look all shinny and ghetto like pioneer/kenwood/and so on.....Take my word on this one i use to have the AVIC-N1 and the first one broke then switch to kenwood(not bad) but i'm a picky bastard so i ended up buying the alpine IVA D300 and the nav unit.......I Love the system

Leo, Garfinkle bought one recently. Its the older Eclipse and I'm now also in a market for one (probably in 3 months).

Anyhow, I saw the Eclipse in action and its pretty awesome!! I liked it because its clean and also double din.

Cool, I would like to check it out. So when we going to visit Garfinkle, j/k. I would like to see it sometimes though, see it in action in person. I am still debating, man hate to drop that much money on something like that.
