R-Magic type 3. Other than that, keep it stock.

1st choice vertex, but u can get the bomex, as long as you stay away from the Fast And Furious paint scheme, then you'll be ok!

Here's one, and you *have* to read this great thread:

I like the hood modification to improve the forward lines of an FD.

Oh ****, you have a Veilside front? Hell, just about any aftermarket bumper would look better than that thing.

However, you get what you pay for. Cheap *** knock-off body pieces have no place on an FD. You could pick up a stock bumper skin for pretty cheap and you would be much better off.

I doubt that you would be able to get the C-west bumper for $300.

Honestly the best quality and best price (atleast for the 93-98) is the stock front. You can pick them up fairly cheap and if you're lucky even in the same color as your car. But it's your car, get what you want.

I like the Mazdaspeed GTC bumper and feed side skirts together.

I had assumed that the car came like that, otherwise I would have said, "you bought a Veilside front....

BTW, rx7store has the C-west front bumper, it's $620. I would estimate $100 for shipping or more. If you aren't flush with cash, I would pick up a used stock bumper skin in your color. It will probably match fairly well and shouldn't cost very much.

I say make your car look like that blue RE Amemiya car . . . i think it's tasteful with the full kit and without the graphics.

The blue RE car is great looking. But the bumper falls short at the turn signals, i.e. they look 80's style and therefore dated.

$6000k = $6,000,000

Doesn't sound like a bargain to me.

I just got that wing for my FD. I also liked it because it was similar to stock but a little bigger.

I'm looking for a kit now, too. I was thinking about the C-West Aero-1 (everybody has the N1), but since I'm in MD and sick of getting hassled about my front tag, I may just go with the 99-spec and some Apexi side skirts. Even if it's been done, that setup looks nice and clean.

Just got a call from Hop Up Racing and they told me they are not carrying C-West stuff anymore because C-West is undergoing a restructure and have ceased all shipments to everyone for the time being. They have no idea how long the restructure will take and don't know if they will be picked up as a dealer once it is completed. I suppose that leaves only replicas if you want the C-West look. I'm going with the 99-Spec.

Just for FYI that RE Amemiya car was not made in 1999. I purchased my first FD in 1997 and that pic was already floating around then.
